Kim Jae Joong's popularity in Japan was proven once again.

Recently, Kim Jae Joong's drama, 'Protect the Boss' was ranked 1st in a poll held by a Japanese magazine as the most favorite Korean drama, and Kim Jae Joong himself was also ranked 3rd in the 'Most Favorite Korean Actor' category.

Japanese magazine 'Ang Ang' is a the hottest fashion magazine in Japan, and it is largely popular among women in 20s and 30s.

'Protect the Boss' started growing largely popular after it premiered last July through TBS channel, and it is being spread to other local broadcast stations of Japan.

Furthermore, the special making DVD of 'Protect the Boss' topped in the sales chart as soon as the reservation began.

An official from Japan said, "A lot of fans love Jae Joong as a member of JYJ, but he is growing greatly popular as an actor as well."

On the other hand, Kim Jae Joong will start his Asia fan meeting tour on October 20th in Nanjing.
